Job Summary

Conduct equipment design, development testing, and research investigations for limited-scope engineering assignments. Prepare technical documents, drawings, and reports while monitoring contract performance against quality and schedules. Interpret technical specifications, conduct experiments, and correlate data to adjust and plan work objectives. Manage interactions with customers, vendors, and department representatives to develop time and cost estimates. Apply knowledge of manufacturing technology, engineering policies, and QC procedures to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Perform work requiring planning and investigation of limited possibilities under review for sound professional judgment.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree -- Engineering
  • Two (2) years' engineering experience since B.S. (1 year with MS)
  • U.S. citizenship with (no dual citizenship)
  • ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance
  • eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter
  • adhere to applicable Company health and safety requirements within the workplace as a condition of employment
  • subject to a Federal background investigation
