Job Summary
Assist with operation maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing light bulbs and performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and swimming pools. Execute trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing while immediately responding to alarms to determine location, cause, and emergency status before reporting to Front Desk. Monitor energy conservation, repair small equipment like vacuum cleaners, and handle guest requests and work orders. Drive shuttle van when needed. Requires valid driver's license, acceptable MVR, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
