Job Summary
Maintain guest rooms, restaurant, spa, administrative offices, and all public areas of the property. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and HAVC units, assist with major projects, and cover missing shifts for the Engineer 2. Provide advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting while writing log book entries and supporting safe work habits. Work independently in conditions ranging from 20 to 100+ degrees, including outdoor and inclement weather, with a valid California Driver License.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in the hotel maintenance field
- Must have a proven skill set as an Engineer 2
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
- Must meet legal age requirements for the position
- High school diploma or equal to a GED
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must speak and communicate in English
- Must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers
- Valid California Driver License is required
