Job Summary
Diagnose and repair small engine outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, and other mechanical equipment sold at Blain's Farm and Fleet stores. Assist customers by loading and unloading products, locating parts, and answering questions regarding repairs. Document repairs on work orders, track units in the shop, and file warranty claims in a timely manner. Contact customers to confirm work completion dates and attend training classes for repair technicians. Demonstrate awareness and compliance with loss prevention and safety policies. This role requires working evenings and every other weekend, with Saturday and Sunday weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Prior small engine and/or automotive maintenance experience
- Prior customer service experience
