Job Summary
Supervise up to 15 production and service workers by directing daily activities, interviewing for hires, and managing performance appraisals. Interpret company policies to enforce safety regulations while establishing work procedures to meet schedules. Analyze production records, inspect products for specification conformance, and estimate worker hour requirements for job assignments. Recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance, then coordinate activities with other supervisors to optimize utilization. Maintain professional behavior with internal and external associates while resolving complaints and motivating teams toward goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- six months to one year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- hands on knowledge in most areas of responsibility
- knowledge of CAT DBS Database software
- knowledge of Internet software
- knowledge of Order processing systems
- knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software
- knowledge of MS Office Suite Word Processing software
- Valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- Ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Strong interpersonal, communication and managerial skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and direct subordinates
- In-depth knowledge of company's products, policy and procedures

- Required travel up to 20%
