Job Summary
Engine Build Intern with hands-on role in assembling, disassembling, inspecting, and maintaining prototype rotary engines and subsystems; assist with engine build activities, measure critical dimensions, verify assembly quality, document observations, and support testing alongside engineers and technicians; operate hand tools, torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, and other shop equipment under supervision; maintain build records, assembly documentation, and parts tracking; collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and test teams in a fast-paced R&D environment. Preferred background includes coursework or hands-on experience in automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, or related disciplines; familiarity with engineering drawings, precision measurement tools, and basic machining concepts; experience with Formula SAE, Baja SAE, robotics, or engine rebuilds is highly desirable; strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork; willingness to learn in a dynamic setting.
