Job Summary
Model, mentor, and advocate for recovering individuals to promote long-term recovery. Work with individuals to verbalize triggers and warning signs, then assist in developing safety plans and Wellness Recovery Action Plans. Provide crisis intervention support by verbally coaching individuals on stress management and follow up care to ensure linkage to appropriate services. Requires CRSS and WRAP certifications within two years of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal experience related to Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorders
- CRSS certification
- WRAP certification
- CRSS certification and WRAP certification in 2 years from hire
