Job Summary
Engagement Specialist to assist the Director of Community Engagement in managing a wide range of public outreach initiatives and supporting FRP series and content partners. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with PBS stations and community contacts, managing grants awarded to PBS stations, coordinating costume rentals and related invoicing, facilitating communication with grant recipients, promoting FRP events and touring/ traveling exhibits, organizing engagement materials, and providing administrative support for events and media assets. The role may involve direct interaction with children and families in local communities and requires fitness for background checks. Strong collaboration, project coordination, and writing/editing skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, are essential for success in this position.

- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree
Desired Qualifications
- Non-profit experience is a plus
- Knowledge of children’s media is a plus, but not required
