Job Summary
Engagement Manager role in Oliver Wyman's Transportation and Advanced Industrials practice. Responsibilities include managing the execution of project modules, developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, surfacing insights, supporting Partner-led project delivery, owning and developing executive client relationships, presenting to diverse audiences, and coaching consultants. Requires 5-7 years of strategy consulting and/or industry experience in aviation, aerospace, rail, and transport; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; leadership and team-management track record; excellent communication skills; willingness to travel. Hybrid work arrangements are offered, with a focus on in-person collaboration at client sites and offices as part of flexible work setups.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in strategy consulting and/or aviation, aerospace, rail and transportations industry experience
- Strong background in conceptual problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform analytical work and handle large data sets
- Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills; confident in presenting to senior executives
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Willingness to travel
