Engagement Manager

Engagement Manager responsible for local communication and engagement with a focus on tenant outcomes and community involvement. Role involves extensive site visits across Sydney locations (Parramatta-based with travel to various NSW sites), development and implementation of community engagement plans in line with Housing Portfolio requirements, and management of stakeholder relationships. Key duties include consulting stakeholders during planning processes, coordinating with Asset/Portfolio Management teams for government and senior stakeholder engagement, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, proactive issue communications, and the preparation and release of public information (newsletters, updates, brochures, website content, and briefing materials). Required capabilities include exceptional written and verbal communication, creative thinking, adaptability to differing personalities, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, leadership and team-management abilities, and experience with escalated complaints handling in tenancy/maintenance contexts. Preferred experience includes stakeholder engagement at a political level (Ministers, MPs, Councillors) and the ability to conduct multiple site visits, with a Parramatta office base and Sydney-wide travel.
