Job Summary
Develop and execute analytics strategy aligning with organizational goals while managing a team of Product Analysts and Data & BI Engineers as a coach. Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable analytics tasks and oversee data-driven solutions through the full development lifecycle. Define and track key performance indicators for product initiatives, utilizing expertise in data storytelling to drive decision-making across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design. Build new analytical frameworks and predictive models to deepen insights into product performance and customer journeys. Requires a Bachelor's in engineering with 6+ years in analytics, 3+ years in people leadership, and experience with Azure, Databricks, and SQL. Located in Austin, TX, offering hybrid work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 6+ years' professional experience working in analytics space
- 3+ years of people leadership or informal mentorship of analytical teams
- Strong analytics focus on product, growth, project management
- Sound knowledge of applied statistics, experimental design, data science techniques
- Good SQL knowledge and experience, authoring queries working with variety of data platforms, and business intelligence systems / visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI/ Tableau)
- Experience with cloud-based technologies like Azure and Databricks
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present analysis findings to stakeholders at all levels
- Close attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively priority
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree preferred but not required
- preferably with an OEM or Manufacturing client or adjacent consumer industries like Retail/ Energy
- Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing space including different sub-domains will be preferred
