Job Summary
Engagement Manager, Analytics & Insights leads end-to-end analytics engagements for payer-focused work, translating payer challenges into structured data-driven solutions. Responsibilities include defining scope and analytic methodologies, guiding analysts in data analysis, modeling, and visualization, presenting findings to senior/executive stakeholders, maintaining technical depth to review outputs, crafting compelling narratives that connect analytics to business value, leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior staff, and owning engagement operations such as work planning and delivery accountability. Strong client-facing skills, ability to translate complex problems into actionable insights, and experience with modern data platforms and executive-ready deliverables are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or related professional services roles
- 3+ years in healthcare analytics
- Experience working with payer organizations
- Ability to own and lead end-to-end engagements
- Strong client-facing experience
- Proven ability to structure complex problems and define analytic approaches
- Strong storytelling skills to translate data into insights
- Experience with modern data platforms; Snowflake preferred
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint; experience delivering executive-level deliverables
- Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Technical fluency in SQL (required); Python or R (preferred); data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
