Job Summary
Lead development and execution of medical and scientific communication initiatives; partner closely with clients to understand business needs and identify strategic opportunities; guide cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in alignment with medical strategy; ensure all work meets regulatory requirements and high standards of scientific accuracy; collaborate on planning, presentations, and workshops to support brand and medical objectives. Requires 8+ years in medical communications or healthcare communications/marketing, prior agency experience, and strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Desired: experience leading cross-functional scientific communication teams; familiarity with medical strategy and competitive landscapes; ability to identify and apply innovative or digital approaches in medical communications; experience supporting conferences or onsite client meetings; comfort integrating AI tools into workflows. Remote option: Hybrid in Philadelphia, PA, US.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in medical communications or healthcare communications/marketing
- Prior experience within a medical communications agency
- Strong understanding of US pharma/healthcare regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and client relationships
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
