Job Summary
Create clear, engaging communications and coordinate public consultations, stakeholder engagement programmes, and community relations initiatives across diverse UK and international projects. Organise events, exhibitions, workshops, webinars, and surveys while analysing consultation feedback to identify key themes and present findings through reports and recommendations. Develop engagement materials including websites, virtual platforms, brochures, fact sheets, posters, and public-facing maps. Contribute to engagement strategies and reporting, ensuring activities are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget. Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to support informed decision-making and trusted client relationships. Join a collaborative UK-wide team of over 40 professionals delivering meaningful engagement that shapes better outcomes for communities and sustainable infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-qualified, or equivalent experience within communications, engagement, consultation, public affairs or a related field
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, plain-English content
- Experience producing communication materials such as newsletters, websites, fact sheets, brochures or stakeholder updates
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrable experience in communications, engagement or stakeholder management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within infrastructure, transport, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors
- Experience supporting the development of engagement strategies, consultation programmes and reporting
- Experience managing the production process for communication materials, including design and print coordination
- Experience planning and delivering both virtual and face-to-face engagement events
- Membership of a relevant professional body
