Job Summary

Manage digital libraries and shared resource platforms for Audubon chapters while creating toolkits, templates, and guides to support chapter operations, communications, and fundraising. Assist with website updates and social media content creation, then collect and synthesize feedback from chapters to assess needs and strengthen support systems. Help coordinate engagement activities, including quarterly check-ins, training webinars, and the September in-person gathering in Austin, Texas. Maintain and foster a culture of safety while participating in professional development through shadowing program staff or visiting centers. This paid, semester-long remote internship aligns with fall and spring academic semesters, offering 15 hours per week between 8am and 5pm.

Required Qualifications

  • Interest in nonprofit management, communications, environmental science, or related fields
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfort navigating digital tools such as Google Workspace, Canva, Mailchimp, or similar platforms
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and engage with constructive feedback
  • Commitment to Audubon's organizational values of care, collaboration, change, integrity, impact, and innovation
  • Experience fostering inclusive and collaborative work environments is valued
