Job Summary
Lead assigned Engage Life programs by offering diversified recreational activities with sufficient supervision and developing new programs, including those for residents confined to rooms. Engage and motivate residents to ensure participation, inform them of upcoming events, and maintain current schedules on bulletin boards. Greets new residents, actively including them in activities and introducing them to others with similar interests. Assist in planning parties, decorating the community for seasons and holidays, and supporting Bright Beginnings initiatives like housewarmings. Maintain records of activities, participation levels, and acceptance as required by state law. Support census building efforts and assist the Engage Life Director in enlisting volunteers. May drive a company vehicle to social destinations when required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education or experience
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
