Job Summary
Lead assigned Engage Life programs by offering diversified recreational activities with sufficient supervision and developing new programs, including those for residents confined to their rooms. Engage and motivate residents to ensure participation, while informing them of upcoming events and maintaining a current schedule on the bulletin board. Greets new residents to include them in activities and introduce them to others with similar interests. Assist in planning parties, decorating for holidays, hosting monthly birthday celebrations, and supporting Bright Beginnings initiatives like housewarmings. Maintain records of activity participation and acceptance as required by state law, and assist the Engage Life Director in enlisting volunteers. May drive the company vehicle to social destinations when required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education or experience
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
