Job Summary
Lead Engage Life programs by offering diversified recreational activities with sufficient supervision and developing new initiatives, including room-based programs for residents confined to their rooms. Engage and motivate residents to ensure participation, while greeting new arrivals and introducing them to community members with shared interests. Inform residents of upcoming events, maintain current schedules on bulletin boards, and assist in planning parties, seasonal decorations, and monthly birthday celebrations. Support Bright Beginnings housewarmings and actively participate in census building initiatives. Maintain records of activities, participation levels, and acceptance as required by state law, and assist the Engage Life Director in enlisting volunteers. May drive a company vehicle to social destinations when required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education or experience
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
