Job Summary
Plan and manage complex distribution projects for commercial and industrial customers, including voltage conversions, feeder additions, and overhead-to-underground conversions. Lead pre-construction meetings, create construction timelines using Gantt Charts, and ensure adherence to construction standards while coordinating multi-project schedules. Provide high-voltage switching analysis to predict system needs and deliver reliability improvements for utility networks. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Located in Austell, GA, or Marietta, GA, with current openings available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in planning level utility projects including voltage conversions, feeder additions, Overhead to Underground feeder conversions, reliability improvements
- Significant experience dealing with commercial/industrial customers with complex distributions systems
- Significant Electric Utility Project Management Experience including organized approach, time management of multiple projects, strong communication skills, ability to create and manage construction timelines (Gantt Charts), lead pre-construction meetings
- Experience with Construction Standards
- Distribution High Voltage Switching experience to predict needs
- Bachelors in Engineering/Engineering Technology
