Job Summary
Review and prepare Systems Engineering documents for requirements generation, management, and verification. Interpret codes, standards, and customer design requirements to compile verification evidence, coordinate with engineering disciplines, and review vendor drawings and construction inspection records. Prepare engineering change packages for requirements management and configuration managed documentation, then deliver verification packages to facilitate system turnover. Coordinate multi-discipline meetings to resolve technical issues and foster an environment based on openness, trust, and teamwork. Work core hours between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with potential overtime or night shifts as business needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- At least 3 years of relevant technical experience
- 9 or more years of relevant experience (in lieu of a degree)
- US citizenship
- Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be able to obtain a site security badge for access to the worksite
- Awareness of national codes and standards, environmental regulations, and their influence on design
- Experience facilitating multi-discipline meetings to resolve technical issues
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance, as applicable

Desired Qualifications
- Professional Registration in Engineering
- Experience on DOE or DOD projects
- Familiarity with implementation of requirements in design
- Experience working on a large, complex EPC contract
- Experience in performing functional analysis
- Experience working with requirements management databases
- Experience in performing design and/or requirements change impact analysis
