Electrical & Control Engineer leads electrical power distribution and control system ownership at the Sheldon Springs mill, supporting production, maintenance, and engineering teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and control issues, developing solutions, maintaining electrical schematics and manuals, overseeing capital and expense projects from inception to start-up, coordinating design activities, managing consultants and contractors, and ensuring the mill’s electrical safety program. The role requires hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA, MV/LV power systems, motor-control centers, P&ID development, and a strong ability to train and coach maintenance staff while driving continuous improvement. On-site, with rotational on-call for weekend maintenance. Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, along with excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project-management skills.
