Job Summary
Meet and maintain program deliverables by working with a small team to prepare and monitor program requirements, budgets, and schedules. Support technical meetings and assist subject matter experts to create and maintain parametric 3D models and related configurations while producing data and documentation that accurately reflects component design intent. Communicate effectively on assigned task requirements, metrics, and status within multi-disciplinary teams. This role supports Pratt & Whitney's Compression Systems Engineering team, which designs and develops fans and compressors for commercial and military engine models.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Manufacturing field
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with GD&T
- An ability to perform simple to moderate tolerance analysis
- Strong NX modeling skills
- experience with large assembly modeling
- Strong communication and teaming skills
- Familiarity with Model Based Definition
- Airfoil creation, working with UT & UA files and modeling
- Good presentation crafting and presenting skills
- This position is classified as: Onsite
- For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility
