Job Summary
Opex Engineer I at Baxter to support tactical planning to optimize plant capacity, improve resource efficiency and flows, and implement capacity models and improvement projects. Responsible for measuring and improving line capacity, ensuring GMP/GDP/compliance, and contributing to safety, quality, and regulatory processes. Requires solid communication skills, proactive approach, and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma tools and data-management systems (Power BI, Minitab). Desirable knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma concepts and related tools; bilingual ability is a plus. This role involves analyzing production standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting Operational Excellence initiatives such as Gemba, 6S, and idea-tracking systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Administration or related careers
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing areas
