Job Summary
Conduct inspections, collect energy data, and analyze HVAC, boiler, chiller, and other energy-intensive system performance to identify anomalies and support the MCRD Energy Manager. Assist with utility accounting, energy projects, facility maintenance, and the implementation of efficiency and water conservation measures. Provide technical support for energy solutions, coordinate training events, and prepare reports and documentation for submission. This part-time role requires 18 to 20 hours per week and supports the Marine Corps Recruit Depot's robust energy management program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- High School Diploma
- Energy technical certification
- Background check
- Special credentialing, clearance, and access
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems, steam and hot water boilers, chillers, and other energy intensive systems and equipment
