Job Summary
Set up and operate Trimble GPS equipment, including base station, SCS 900 software, GCS 900, and laser level. Perform survey and mapping of construction measurements, survey existing conditions of proposed work sites, and guide new construction work through layout. Advise team members during all stages of the construction project through direct surveys and layout support. Perform basic surveying computations, plan reading, and survey note taking. Care for, clean, and use surveying tools and equipment. Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of related construction experience
- Current driver's license
- Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to Base Station, SCS 900, GCS 900, and laser level
- Detail orientation
- Ability to work independently
- Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- CTS level 1 or equivalent preferred
