Job Summary
Energy Solutions Engineer to design and deliver Australia-wide EV charging infrastructure. You’ll develop site concepts for EV charging sites, create detailed designs for grid connections, switchboards and EV chargers, manage DNSP enquiries, produce AutoCAD drawings, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, support commissioning and maintenance, and mentor junior engineers. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years in EV charging or related industry; experience with DNSP processes; strong AutoCAD skills; the role includes a hybrid work arrangement between Sydney offices and home.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar)
- 5+ years’ engineering experience across EV charging, or relevant industry
- Experience managing DNSP connection enquiries, applications and approvals
- Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience producing 2D engineering drawings and design plans
- Chartered Professional Engineer, RPEQ or VIC PE accreditation is highly regarded
