Job Summary
Energy Sales Specialist focusing on outside sales within a defined territory, building and maintaining relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners. Responsibilities include learning Victaulic’s products, understanding construction cycles, developing business plans with Regional Sales Manager, leading internal teams to secure quotations and purchase orders, and guiding customers through design, bidding, installation training, and after-sale support. Requires traveling to job sites, evenings/weekends with clients, educating customers on product value, coordinating with distributors, and leveraging market knowledge to grow sales across the territory. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, plus the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and travel as needed. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous sales experience selling value-added products/services
- prefer related to commercial construction PVF/mechanical products
- willingness to travel nationally
- self-motivated and self-driven
- ability to build relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners
