Job Summary
Join CLEAResult's Building Performance Consulting team in Massachusetts as an Energy Rating Specialist. You will work with design and construction teams from initial project planning through final construction, performing energy modeling and field inspections through various stages of the construction process to support the delivery of CLEAResult’s portfolio of New Construction consulting services including: HERS Ratings, Energy Code Compliance, Energy Star Homes, DOE Efficient New Homes, Passive House. Responsibilities include reviewing construction blueprints, creating energy models using EKOTROPE, visiting sites, collecting data, performing diagnostic testing (blower door and duct blaster), preparing documents for code compliance, certification, and rebates, communicating technical concepts to contractors, supporting projects from energy modeling to construction, initiating outreach to potential clients, and participating in ongoing training to build knowledge in building science and energy programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Building Science - Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field)
- Experience in Residential Construction preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal, writing, verbal communication, and reporting skills
- Ability to balance and manage multiple details, tasks and deadlines both independently and in a team setting
