Job Summary
Energy Procurement & Commercialisation Manager to lead energy procurement, commercialization and operational oversight across a portfolio of data centres in Europe; responsible for defining procurement strategies, negotiating PPAs and energy contracts, monitoring energy markets, optimizing cost and risk, structuring on-site energy resale, supporting development teams with energy pricing and sourcing insights, overseeing power operations and on-site assets, and ensuring alignment between energy strategy and capacity planning; requires 5+ years in energy markets with strong negotiation and analytics, English fluency (additional European languages a plus).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in energy markets, utilities, IPPs, power trading, or energy intensive industries
- Strong expertise in energy procurement and trading - power plant operations experience is a plus
- Proven experience negotiating PPAs and/or other energy contracts
- Familiarity with European energy markets and regulatory frameworks (France, Germany representative markets)
- Ability to bridge technical, commercial, and operational topics
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with understanding of energy pricing and risk
- Stakeholder management
- Ability to operate in a fast-scaling, infrastructure-driven environment
- Full fluency in English (written and spoken); French, Dutch, German or Spanish is a plus
- Entrepreneurial personality with analytical skills, curiosity, adaptability and innovation
