Job Summary
Energy Modelling Analyst responsible for developing and customizing analytical models to generate cutting-edge insights into energy markets. Collaborate with research and advisory teams to translate model results into actionable recommendations, and build analytical tools to enhance the technical suite. Contribute to process improvements within the modelling team while applying quantitative methods and programming to analyse data and reflect market intricacies. Requires a quantitative degree and strong problem solving, data analysis, and programming skills; hybrid work arrangement in Oxford with opportunities to work from home and in-office.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other quantitative field
- Exceptional problem solving skills and analytical ability
- Ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages, e.g. C++, Matlab, Python, R, Java
- Strong interpersonal skills, and a great team player
