Job Summary
Energy Market Analyst analyzing electricity and natural gas markets, tracking national and European regulatory developments, developing and applying advanced quantitative models to support strategic decisions, preparing scenario analyses and evaluating policy impacts on profitability and competitiveness, producing documented reports and presenting strategic recommendations to management, collaborating with internal Trading, Risk, and Regulatory Affairs teams to integrate data and analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Economics, or Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience in the energy sector
- Proven experience in market modeling and policy/regulatory analysis
- Experience with national and European energy policy (preferred)
- Experience in at least one programming language: Python, R, Julia
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Good time management
- Teamwork and collaboration
