Job Summary
Monitor Energy Management, Building Automation, and Power Distribution systems to assess performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for energy and water savings. Ensure compliance with Environmental Management System requirements, installation energy goals, and applicable federal energy laws while developing and maintaining energy performance metrics. Coordinate with facility personnel to support sustainability objectives, respond to system alarms, and conduct assessments that recommend improvements for operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, Sustainability, Facilities Management, or related field
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
- Equivalent education and experience to the degree and experience requirement
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with environmental procedures, energy management programs, or sustainability initiatives similar to those required under this contract
- Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
- Working knowledge of applicable environmental regulations
- Working knowledge of federal energy laws
- Working knowledge of energy and water reduction requirements
- Working knowledge of renewable energy policies
- Ability to analyze utility data
- Ability to analyze trend reports
- Ability to analyze technical drawings
- Ability to analyze system documentation
- Ability to perform facility inspections requiring walking
- Ability to perform facility inspections requiring climbing
- Ability to perform facility inspections requiring bending
- Ability to use standard safety equipment
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain installation access credentials
- Strong communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills

- Experience with BAS
- Experience with Energy Management Systems
- Experience with SCADA platforms
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
