Job Summary
Research and analyze energy incentives tax matters, financial reports, and building plans to prepare client reports, findings, and documentation. Perform special tax projects, communicate with clients and the IRS, and apply general business trends to tailor solutions. Maintain compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines while ensuring timely and accurate performance on assigned tasks. Join the India team to support comprehensive energy tax incentive services for US clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Building Science, Architecture, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with general business tax credit work, and related energy incentives
- Valid Certified Public Accountant license or working towards obtaining CPA license
- Knowledge of tax accounting principles, IRS regulations, and energy tax credit incentives and issues
- Proficient in MS Office suite including Word and PowerPoint
- Strong skillset in Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to read and review building plans and specifications
- Excellent technical writing and verbal skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical and research skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines by setting priorities with work projects
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
