Job Summary
Analyze utility consumption, cost, demand, and renewable energy production data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders. Conduct on-site facility assessments and operational reviews to identify energy-saving opportunities, while supporting monitoring-based commissioning, fault detection, and corrective action efforts. Present energy performance findings and recommendations to facility staff, administrators, and leadership teams. Coordinate site visits, meetings, and trainings to ensure a high standard of customer service. This role supports energy management, utility analytics, and renewable energy performance programs for K-12 school districts and municipal clients throughout Northern and Central California. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Sacramento, CA, with 50% short-term domestic travel to client sites required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or related field
- Experience analyzing utility, facility, or energy performance data
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Remote working benefits available but employee must reside within 50 miles of Sacramento, CA
- 50% short-term domestic travel client sites within the State of CA
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, utilities, and/or renewable energy systems is preferred
- Experience working with K-12 schools, municipalities, or public-sector clients is a plus
