Job Summary
Support measure development for a commercial, industrial, and agricultural midstream energy efficiency program by collaborating with client engineering and evaluation teams. Author measure packages, including cost-effectiveness calculators, and document assumptions, data sources, and citations. Develop preliminary and final cost-effectiveness analyses using utility cost test and total resource cost test methodologies, while leading the creation of calculation tools and workpapers. Update measures for changes in baseline performance, costs, savings, and energy code revisions. Provide QA/QC of engineering work products, review filings for technical accuracy, and support program analytics including forecasting cost-effectiveness ratios. Become a recognized subject matter expert in at least one engineering technology relevant to the midstream program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or a related technical field) or graduate degree
- 5–10+ years of combined experience in energy efficiency consulting, program implementation, or engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Excellent technical and non-technical writing and communication abilities
- Ability to convey findings to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization and analysis tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex technical projects
- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
- Based in Oregon or the greater Western United States
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
