Energy Efficiency Client Intake Specialist

Job Summary
Screen clients for energy efficiency programs via phone and email, verify required documentation, and determine eligibility for services. Enter and maintain accurate client information in the database while educating applicants on available rebates and incentives. Schedule energy audits, home assessments, and HVAC site visits, then coordinate with program managers and estimators. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and utility requirements while maintaining confidentiality of all client data. Assist with outreach events and community engagement activities as needed. This role operates in an office environment three days per week with occasional community outreach.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, client intake, administrative support, or social services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to explain complex program requirements in a clear and professional manner
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with energy efficiency, weatherization, utility assistance, or housing programs
- Knowledge of income eligibility guidelines and documentation requirements
- Experience using Housecall Pro, Google Calendars, and/or Salesforce
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
