Job Summary
Deliver energy products to customers while maintaining safe working conditions and accurate daily truck inspection records. Respond to all complaints, follow through to satisfactory settlement, and update management on business-related communications. Work with sales teams to increase energy product sales and monitor product shrinkage per company policy. Perform routine service on customer tank systems, check credit history before deliveries, and maintain rolling stock and bulk plant areas. Adhere to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, OSHA, DOT, and environmental health and safety policies. Requires Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, valid medical card, and ability to work scheduled nights and weekends in extreme weather.
Required Qualifications
- Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof
- 1 - 3 years or more of truck driving and/or bulk transport delivery related work experience
- Must possess and maintain a Class A or B CDL driver's license
- Air brakes endorsement
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Satisfactory driving record
- Valid medical card
- Available to work scheduled deliveries during the work week
- Available to work scheduled nights/weekends
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training
- Employment is contingent on receipt of an acceptable and job-related background check
- Employment is contingent on receipt of a drug test
- Employment is contingent on receipt of a motor vehicle report
- Employment is contingent on receipt of a reference check
