Energy Data Engineer

Job Summary
Energy Data Engineer responsible for analyzing energy data, developing AI-based price and energy forecasts, and generating actionable insights through analysis of operational and financial performance. Tasks include analyzing production, consumption, and storage data; conducting AI-based market analysis; developing KPI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations; validating data quality; and collaborating with IT, operations, sales, and country organizations to support data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within an energy sector
- Proven experience in designing and building purpose-driven analytical environments
- Experienced in building data pipelines, including data extraction, validation, transformation and loading
- Practical experience working with modern cloud data infrastructures such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks
- Ideally, experience applying and training AI models and machine learning algorithms
- High level of proficiency in SQL and solid experience with Python, R, MATLAB or comparable programming languages
