Job Summary
Energy Data Engineer responsible for analyzing energy data (production, consumption, storage), conducting AI-based market analyses and forecasts, and delivering KPI dashboards and insights to support data-driven decisions. Collaborates with IT, operations, sales, and regional teams to build a centralized data and reporting infrastructure, improve data quality, and enable optimization of energy systems and financial performance. Requires a completed degree in a related field, 2–4 years of energy-data experience, strong SQL and programming skills (Python, R, MATLAB), and hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks). Emphasizes energy transition impact, CO2 balance improvement, and actionable analytics across real estate and industrial contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, Physics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within an energy sector
- Proven experience in designing and building purpose-driven analytical environments
- Experienced in building data pipelines, including data extraction, validation, transformation and loading
- Practical experience working with modern cloud data infrastructures such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks
- Ideally, experience applying and training AI models and machine learning algorithms
- High level of proficiency in SQL and solid experience with Python, R, MATLAB or comparable programming languages
