Energy Contract Manager

Job Summary
Monitor Data4 consumption across European campuses and extrapolate trends to estimate end-to-end retail prices. Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers and conduct RFI/RFPs to secure optimal energy propositions. Manage and amend supply, balancing, and capacity contracts while driving Requests for Quotation to maintain high-level hedging through PPA signatures. Scrutinize the forward market to advise on short-term positioning and find innovative solutions for 24/7 carbon-free customer requirements. Liaise with Country directors and Finance teams to update them on strategy execution, consolidate costs for invoicing, and maintain dashboards tracking positions on electricity and Guarantees of Origin.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of business or engineering school
- 3 years' experience in a similar role as energy sourcing manager in more than one country
- At least signed one PPA
- Experience in contractual negotiations of long form contracts
- Working closely with Consulting companies
- Working closely with lawyer firms
- Minimum level of French
- Professional English
- Excellent use of the Microsoft Excel suite
- Fundamental & Technical Analysis skills to evaluate the electricity market
