Job Summary
Operate Energy Center equipment and related control systems, including gas/oil boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration, chillers, and cooling towers. Perform routine maintenance on steam systems, water softeners, and pumps while executing chemical tests for hardness, conductance, alkalinity, and pH to maintain proper control of utilities. Utilize computer-based HMI and Maximo systems for utility and HVAC management. Requires four years of related energy center operations experience with a high school diploma or GED. Base pay ranges from $24.65 to $49.25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4 years of related work in energy center operations
- Operating energy center type equipment such as boilers, refrigeration, air compressors, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control systems in a similar environment
- Performing tasks similar to or the same as those required in this position
