Job Summary
Energy Audit Manager in Houston, TX: Manage client engagements from planning through completion of audit engagements, including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and issue resolution. Oversees day-to-day operations of the audit engagement, collaborates with seniors, supervisors and partners, manages multiple engagements, and creates engagement budgets. Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge for advising clients, identifies complex issues, and applies regulatory and accounting pronouncements. Participates in mentoring, training, recruiting, maintaining staff development, and involvement in business development and cross-selling the firm’s services. Expands industry expertise and stays current with industry news. Travel as needed and ability to teach and lead professional development activities. CPA certification and 5+ years of upstream oil & gas audit experience required; bachelor’s degree in accounting; strong GAAP knowledge; proficiency with Prosystem Fx Engagement and Microsoft Office; potential for partnership pathway.
Required Qualifications
