Job Summary
Build quantitative models and conduct data analysis using Excel, R, Python, and GAMS to solve complex energy market problems. Perform literature reviews, document examinations, and econometric analysis to support client deliverables, presentations, and expert reports in legal and regulatory contexts. Collaborate with senior consultants to develop robust solutions for electricity, natural gas, and broader energy sectors, including capacity expansion and security-constrained production cost modeling. Contribute to coauthoring publications and present findings to project teams and clients. Submit application materials by September 14, 2026, with a secondary deadline of October 12, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. economics, computer science, data science, and mathematics), with strong academic performance.
- GPA of 3.7 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale).
- Have completed or will complete a course with climate or energy focus.
- Have completed a significant, self-defined project using quantitative analysis and economic principles.
- Can apply quantitative analysis and economic thinking to real-world cases during the interview process.
- Must have or anticipate having a STEM degree upon graduation.
- Must be eligible for at least 36 months of work authorization.
