Job Summary
Develop timely quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision-making by structuring economic problems and deriving insights from model results. Interact closely with the modelling team to conduct rigorous analysis, while identifying new opportunities for Aurora's product development. Engage directly with clients to understand requirements and present findings, substantially influencing major decisions in the energy sector. This role is open to undergraduate students in quantitative fields at top-tier universities, offering direct engagement through conferences and workshops to grow into industry experts.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in undergraduate programs in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Molecular Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or other quantitative fields at top-tier universities
- An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
- Perform in team-oriented environment
- Dedication and commitment to set objectives and goals
- An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
- Genuine interest in understanding the Brazilian power market
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- CVs in English
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in conducting analysis on power markets
- Competence in advanced data analytics (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, Advanced Excel)
