Job Summary
Endpoint Security Analyst responsible for monitoring and securing enterprise endpoints across Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems on workstations, laptops, and servers. Perform vulnerability identification and risk mitigation, communicate with desktop support and server administration teams to maintain security posture, research industry trends, evaluate new security solutions, compile audit reports, monitor logs and alerts from EDR and SIEM, investigate endpoint incidents, identify root causes, and develop mitigation steps. Mentor junior analysts, participate in on-call rotations, and stay current with evolving threats and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, or Group Policy
- Ability to communicate complex and technical concepts to a non-technical, general audience
- Experience providing remote response and remediation activities within networks and on endpoints
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving threat landscape and emerging security technologies
