Job Summary
Hands-on Endpoint Management Specialist to support and evolve a large-scale Windows device estate. Responsible for maintaining enterprise endpoint platforms (e.g., Symantec CMS/Altiris, Microsoft Intune, SCCM), owning the Windows device lifecycle from build/configuration through patching, upgrades and retirement. Acts as a technical escalation point, delivering software deployment, endpoint security controls, vulnerability remediation, and patch compliance. Supports project/change delivery, and develops runbooks and knowledge articles. Collaborates with wider service teams to ensure client and operational requirements are met, and contributes to standardisation and automation of endpoint management processes. Requires strong troubleshooting, structured fault resolution, and working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, proxies, firewalls, subnets). This is a hands-on role across modern and legacy endpoint technologies in a large enterprise context.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in endpoint management/EUC in large Enterprise
- Hands-on experience with Altiris, Intune, and/or SCCM
- Solid understanding of Windows endpoint environments and device lifecycle management
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- TCP/IP networking knowledge including VLANs, proxies, firewalls, subnets
- Experience with software deployment, endpoint security controls, vulnerability remediation, and patching
