Job Summary
Prepare rooms and equipment before and after procedures, verify equipment functioning and perform safety checks, and maintain disinfection of instruments. Collect and deliver specimens, assist in patient intake, transport, paperwork, and recordkeeping of physician observations, and place devices to monitor vital signs. Provide pre and post visit planning and patient calls, while distributing equipment information during in-service training sessions and validating professional skills through active participation. Work Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm in Carmel, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working with patients
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office
- 1+ years of experience working with medical equipment
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Knowledge of EMR
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
