Job Summary
Provide high quality patient care as part of clinical team by preparing rooms and equipment before and after procedures. Verify equipment functioning, maintain disinfection, and collect specimens. Assist with patient intake, transport, paperwork, and vital sign monitoring. Distribute information regarding equipment or instruments at in-service training sessions and validate professional skills through active participation. Perform pre and post visit planning and patient calls. Conduct all other duties as assigned. Work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm in Carmel, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience working with patients
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office
- 1+ years of experience working with medical equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Knowledge of EMR
