Job Summary
Endoscopy Technician II responsible for patient-care activities and team support in the GI procedure room, assisting with direct patient care during colonoscopies and upper endoscopies as well as other ancillary procedures, and aiding physicians with equipment used during procedures. Also handles duties outside the procedure room, including recovery and endoscope reprocessing, while maintaining competency in endoscope reprocessing and high-level disinfection. Must adapt to a dynamic environment with short-notice changes, prioritize patient care and teamwork, function independently, and possess equipment troubleshooting skills. Commitment to Endoscopy is required.
