Endoscopy Technician I

Endoscopy Technician I provides assistance to physicians during endoscopy procedures in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include distributing supplies, equipment maintenance, decontamination and setup, and ensuring privacy and safety in accordance with regulations. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and knowledge of GI principles and medical terminology. Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are needed to support patient care and collaboration with healthcare providers. The role is full-time, dayshift, non-exempt, with a 40-hour workweek.
